14573 One of the most talked-about new car launches of the 1980s was the mid-engine, two-seat Pontiac Fiero of 1984. Featuring an innovative space-frame design with a fiberglass body, the Fiero was a fuel-efficient sports car perfectly suited to the era and quickly captured public attention when Pontiac was still truly exciting. All '84 Fieros were powered by a simple "Iron Duke" four-cylinder engine, but the high-performance Fiero GT, introduced in 1985, also boasted a more powerful 2.8-liter multi-injection V6 and a special aero kit. The latter was almost entirely carried over from the race-ready '84 Fiero that served as the pace car for the Indianapolis 500 that year. This easy-to-build 1:24 scale Revell kit meticulously recreates the 1985 Fiero GT, which Pontiac confidently proclaimed to be "More show. More go. More wing. More zing." - Build a true-to-life 1985 Pontiac Fiero GT or customize it with optional side scoops and a wild, track-ready ram-air scoop mounted on the roof - Detailed, mid-mounted 2.8-liter V6 engine visible under the opening engine cover - Perfect details such as Pontiac's unforgettable high-tech wheels and a large rear spoiler - All-new decal sheet with factory-accurate details and red stripes
